Went here to pick up some dinner yesterday. Ordered a chicken burrito bowl. It wasn't busy for a weekend and there was tons of seating. This place is what you'd expect for fast food. All the meats, veggies and sauces are sitting in a warmer and you choose your options. It's too bad this place charges you an extra $1 for cheese. It seems weird to not include cheese as part of the price since it was around $10.50 without the cheese. The chicken was a bit dry as bits of felt like it may have been sitting in the warmer for too long. The flavour is quite average, somewhat lacking. You're better off going up the street to Chipotle for better food and value.

Their burritos were pretty gross. Also they mixed up beef and chicken. on the tin foil the burritos were marked with B or C. Apparently B stood for Chicken and C stood for Beef. They definitely screwed up.
Ok back to the burritos. I got the chicken burrito and it was not good at all. There was not enough sauce and the chicken seemed so chunky. the burrito was flavorless.
Also the burrito skin was too thick and a bit too much.
Not good. Don't think I am going back. -

Legit the worst burrito I think I've ever had in my life. The onions were not cut and super chunky, there was no sauce, no flavor. Neither of us had a good meal. Super disappointing :( I couldn't finish my vegetarian burrito at all.

How would you feel? This was the response that I received from management after I told them of my experience. While I appreciate that I can "help" them in their communication within this store....I somehow don't feel like i was heard...I would have like to receive a response that said more than"sorry to hear about what happened." I would have liked to have someone say, you know what occurred was inappropriate, and that we value you as a 1st time customer. But maybe customers - especially 1st time ones don't mean as much to them? Perhaps that is just the way that their customer service is with their employees..... I just felt like this was a prank.... like I don't matter..... like I don't deserve a response of more than just a sentence with a "sorry" I don't know what do you think?
"Sorry to hear about what happened. We will investigate with the store and talk to the Japanese employee you are referring to. Your feedback will help us to improve our communication within this store. Hope to see you very soon :) - RB Mgt"

Thank you for reaching out so quickly - I appreciate that. When I called initially - the phone was answered but no one said hello? I then heard laughing in the background (which is fine ....but confusing?). I hung up called back and the person that answered seemed to speak broken english....again strange? I repeatedly asked to speak to someone with more fluency so that I could check if my order had been picked up. The individual that I was speaking with just continued to say "hi" "I can't hear you?". She was also speaking with someone in the background. She then asked if she could call me back? Again which was confusing? She then called me on a number that I had NOT called to her on? I told her that I had not called her on that number and asked for her name she gave me her name and told me she is from Japan. The reason for the email is because I wanted you to know that I am just a customer who wanted to have dinner..... and wanted to have the dinner arrive hot. I have not eaten with you prior but your menu looked fantastic so I wanted to try your establishment out. While I have no issue with someone who does not have English as their 1st language. (I am an ESL teacher) I just wanted you to be aware that the interaction was confusing....at best? The employee seemed to continuously be laughing while having a conversation with me? Again which I found confusing? This being my 1st time ordering from you.....I don't know....is this normal? -

I never really expect much from fast food places but whoa customer service here is non existent. I went into this restaurant and stood at the counter while both employees who saw me just ignored me and did their thing. I left after standing there with no acknowledgment for some 3 minutes.
Listen, I understand if you have to get a series of orders done. I worked customer service in the food industry too. But no acknowledgment of a customer to let them know that you'll be with them soon or otherwise is just rude. Basic customer service that every person who has ever worked in the service industry knows.
Go to Chipotle down the street instead.
